in a bowl of water break an egg and poach in the microwave. The whole thing should be covered when cooking in the micro.

My grandmother actually had this device that was made for it. It was made of some sort of microwave safe tupperware type material with pinholes in the tops. I don't know if they still sell this thing, or where, if anywhere, you might be able to get it. It was beige, had two saucer shaped compartments and the compartments were connected with a small tab of the same material.
Oh look at this, I found one on amazon.com. It's not even close to the one my grandmother had, but I imagine it will serve the same purpose. Here's the link:

The simplest way is to crack the egg into a Pyrex dessert cup and microwave it for a minute or so, depending on the wattage of your particular microwave. You may have to use a dozen eggs or so to find out what period of time works for you. I like to cover mine with a bit of plastic wrap just in case there's an air bubble and they "burst." Be sure to remove the wrap carefully so you don't get steam burns.

Walmart sells a microwave egg poacher. This is the easiest way I know. Here is a website that has a picture of one.
