Just don't hang around her anymore. If she missed you, she will want to be more than a friend.

I was friends with my husband before we started dated. We still enjoy the fact that we are best friends.I have no idea if there is hope for you. Some of my friends I dated and others were strictly that and I had no desire to date them. You haven't given any clues to how she acts around you. Call her and ask her to go get a hamburger or something and talk to her in the car. Just ask how she'd feel about you asking her out. I don't see how that question could ruin the friendship. Then you'll get a better idea as to where you stand and whether or not you should look for someone else. Good luck.

I would stop liking her and move on.. No point, once a girl has made up her mind about you being her friend... It's pretty much you're her friend all the way.. .But of course not always, but girls don't change their minds... So, Just relax and be a friend to her and if you can't stand being her friend because you like her so much? well then for get her.. try not to contact her so much... I feel your pain, been there... trust me move on..

If the girl just wants to be friends, then oh well. Remain friends. I have had the same problem. I just ask the girl out, and if she wants to remain just friends, I am fine with that.

My usual response: Get annoyed, drink a bottle of scotch, throw up, move on, forget her.

You needn't worry about losing her as a friend. She's no friend of yours.

Value your relationship as a friend - Don't do something that you will regret - Just be yourself
