I think you feel scared cause you've actually found someone that your very fond of and who returns the same feelings, that your not quite sure how 2 react so it kind of freaks you out alittle, but at the same time your excited and happy that he does love you.

Be happy and enjoy his love for you. The fear will pass eventually if not already

All the best mate and hope all goes well for you 2.

Fear is a natural reaction when we are uncertain of the unknown, the fear of being hurt or finding out that things are not what we thought they were, or if we have been hurt in the past and are afraid to open up again. The only way you can overcome that is to look deep inside and ask yourself; "Is my love for him strong enough that I can work past the fear to take a chance on him?" This is the only way you can in my humble opinion, find out the truth not only of your relationship but of yourself.

Is he providing the things that are most important to you in a relationship? It sounds like the answer might be, "no".

From that other question I answered, maybe it's your shyness. You're afraid of being hurt, or afraid of commitment.
