Why not post her maiden name on here, what about the newspapers? Is there a Post Adoption registry in Columbia that would deal with these issues? Any churches that would know of her.

I have phoned around, asking people who had the same last name, with the same surname - I would just take a chance and look up the area code and dial directory assistance. Why not post it here and see if anyone would have the same last name as you from the same area? Maybe you can get them to look up phone numbers for your inquiries.

My ex-husband drove me nuts wondering who his parents were, it got to the point when I went shopping I would look at people and wonder if that was his mom or dad.
