my partner likes to wind me up like he will punch me in the arm and things and try and fun fight with me (not hard or nothing i am not being battered) i loose my rag and end up really laying into him, he thinks this is funny.
he says i like it when you get mad is he strange or what?

This is so strange..... O J used to do the same thing with Nicole... I'm serious. I think she provoked him. I really do. Not that gives him an excuse but i feel if she was less unreasonable she would be alive today. I was surprised that was never brought out.

Its definately and attention seeking thing but I think he is missing some male bonding, he probably wants to hit you harder like he might a guy but is fearful of hurting you. Send him out with his friends so he can get it out of his system.
Oh also maybe he just isnt interested in what your watching on tv!

Not strange, but if you don't like it you must tell him to stop.
I went out with a guy younger than me who would wind me up, not by hitting but by saying stuff (telling me I had a fat backside, had no style, was old enough to be his mother blah blah blah).
I told him I didn't like it.
He carried on doing it.
I dumped him.
He cried.
I laughed.

He isn't strange, he's just a funny person who craves your attention and is begging for more of it.
Just try to go along with it, and if it doesn't work explain the situation to him and he should stop doing it.

nah, he's just a normal guy who likes a little fun, yes when guys poke you it can be annoying but hes probably hinting he wants a bit of fun *wink wink* the fact hes play fighting with u its good that he sees you as a friens, as wellas a romantic interest.

Funny isn't it. My boyfriends the same, he just wants attention. He like to make me frustrated we laugh, wrestle then it usually ends up with hot sex.
