You should feel flattered that the men consider you one of them. But if you do go the other women in the office will be catty about it. It will make every promotion you get from this point on seem like you slept for it. The other women in the office probably don't like you as is. I don't know if I would throw fuel on the fire. It is best to make the other broads in the joint believe that you are one of them, even if you are not. Solidarity!

Are you crazy! Of course you dont go, unless you fancy any of them and you think they might respect you. Once the drinking starts then unless you are a minger and in some cases even if you are then most of them men will see you as an easy target and want to sleep with you.
It seems very strange that only you have been asked and no one else.... it almost sounds like a set up!

Big NO. It is even obvious by your own question........ you are having doubt and already know the answer. There is too much at stake and stuff going on out there. I would wonder "Hmmm why am I the only female being asked ?" 17 men? Alcohol? Think about it. Spend your evening with your girlfriends!!

Why are you the only one that has been asked? Call me suspicious, but in this day and age, you need to take care to protect yourself and even though you know and work with these men, putting yourself in a situation such as this could lead to trouble.

well, if the club they are going to is a gay club, then by all means, party with them. they'd be harmless. otherwise, secretly bring pepper spray. even if you are good friends with those boys, you cannot just trust anyone.

I think you should go, as long as you are not the only female there.
the other female co-workers have nothing to do with this and it's totally up to you to go or not.
