We gotta stop trying to usurp God. Give me thumbs down if you will, but don't you think there's a reason certain people are infertile? There's a reason why some people just aren't meant to have children biologically, whether it's because they're going to cause maybe in future generations unhealthy or diseased genes that we don't even know about as yet, whatever; and should adopt and take care of those children without parents (through no fault of their own) that are already here? When did we even presume to think we know better than God's plan? Or that he's stupid and needs mere mortals to interfere? Yes, we have "modern" medicine and technology. You no longer have to die because you've had a heart attack or cancer. But it's our lifestyles that have caused that. This is one of those discussions that could go on for hours. Imean, what if like outta some horrow movie some freak thing happened at the lab where they're storing those embryos and they all get messed up? It's like sci-fi. Beam me up Scotty! And do we have any idea what future generations will be like from these frozen embryos? Hmm-m, wanna eat some cloned animal for dinner without knowing the consequences 20 years down the road? Just seems selfish to go freezing embryos when there are so many already here to shape the future, given a chance.

mhiaa, you talk now but i know you will feel VERY differently if you are the infertile woman who desperately wants to have a child. I think you will be the first to freeze your entire ovary in the hopes of having children. This is not some mad scientist project. It is honest people trying to procreate. I'm sure people said things like this when the car was first invented. If god wanted us to move that fast he would have given us wheels not legs or if god meant for us to fly he would have given us wings... and now, everyone has a car. It's life. Every new thing that comes on the horizon is viewed with septicism and usually a religious and nature oriented reason why it is wrong until...."wait a second, i want my eggs frozen too"

Isn’t getting life sort of the point of them being there? In my opinion the population is overcrowded enough. Which may seem barbaric to some but I'm just being honest. If you want to have a stable economy and supply a decent education to children. Then a few abortions or frozen fetuses aren’t such a bad thing.

sometimes you have to do these sort of things for science, in the long run.
every now and then, you got to go forward, to go back.

They're just bundles of cells, not even the size of the head of a pin. They don't have any rights.
