don't know if someone else suggested this or not, the other answer too long. have your blood sugar checked. I sometimes have panic attacks when my sugar gets low. prozac makes you stupid and zanax makes you mean. health worries and financial problems are triggers for panic attack. like the others said, reduce your stress, try to get more rest, when you feel an attack coming on, go someplace quiet.

Well as long as you keep stressing yourself out, worrying, and about every little thing that is going wrong with you , or in your life , then you are going to have panic attacks. You need to let things go, and learn to relax, and to not worry about every little thing that you think is wrong with you, you are going to worry yourself to death. Being stressed and worried all the time, willl cause panic attacks. Now i do not think it is fair to blame the doctor for her saying she does not have a crystal ball, so you had panic attacks all day, you proably would of not matter what she would of said to her. There is no way that she could of told you that answer. You are causing your own panic attacks, by all of the worrying, and blaming, and that. Losing weight, well not a big problem, unless it is a problem, and your doctor seems not to think so , she did not give you any pills cause she did not feel you needed them at this time for cholestoral. If it was bad, she would of had you on pills. Shacks and trembling, well people younger then you have had that, and got over it, it is usually a nerves condition. It sounds like you worry about your health all the time, and the doctor seems to think you need to try diet and exerciseing. So i would listen to her, she is the one that went to school , and she should know what she is talking about. I think you may need to go and talk to a therapist about all of your problems, and worrys, before it drives you crazy, or drives your doctor crazy. They can help you with your issues, some that you may not even be aware of. And they can get your panic attacks under control, and also teach you not to blame others for the way you feel, cause sometimes it is you that is making you feel that way , not the other person. So go seek some professional help, and do it soon.

When I moved to NYC, I started to have panics attacks too. I didn't know it was panic attacks because I have never experienced before and it didn't happen on moments or fear or stress, it happens while I was running my errands and everything was calm. It used to happens only when the train door was close and the train started to run, after the door's open, even if I was still inside the train, I used to get back to normal. I spent 6 months not riding in trains, because people around me in the train, used to get alarmed by my breathing's rate (I could not breath) and my heart used to go extremely fast...The sensation was terrible. I spoke with my doctor and he told me to stop taking PROZAC, because it seems that medication was causing me that.
I suffer from anxiety depression, and I have decided not to take medication, the only physical side effects I suffer, besides the depression and headaches, is an annoying sweating under arms. I have tried all types of deodorant but no improvements. This condition, only happens when I am on the streets, or in an crowded places, If I am at home, or at some friends places or at my office or at my private desk, I don't sweat, but If I get out of my desk, all the sweating start. The good thing is that has no smell or color, so my clothes doesn't get stink or dirty.

You certainly gave me a chuckle. High cholesterol is detremental accumulatively over the years. It is very unlikely at 29 with high cholesterol you will drop from heart attack. The first thing docs do is get you to try diet for six months to see if that improves cholesterol...and to see whether your cholesterol problem is diet related or genetic. If you correctly use the dietary program and your cholesterol does not go down then pills might be appropriate. RELAX!!!!! If the doc does not seem too concerned it is because he is not too concerned. Follow up with him and do what he says...but stop fretting. Nowadays with the way young people are sendentary I would venture to guess that more than half have high cholesterol.

Learn and practice the method at http://deeplyrelax.com and repeat to yourself the word: "easy", for panic attacks, so do it now, and you will be prepared. Start using margarine with plant sterols, like "Flora", as recommended. Restrict butter, regular cheese, cream, yoghurt, full cream milk, eggs, and red meat (including ham & bacon), fried foods, particularly using lard, fat, or dripping. Have omega 3 supplements (4/day), fish, like sardines, salmon and tuna, more fruit, vegetables, beans, peas, nuts, rice, soy milk, tofu, flaxseed or soy & linseed bread, canola, olive (too smoky for high heat use), soybean, or macadamia oil. Low fat cheese & yoghurts, skim milk (I only use the full cream in coffee now). Many things that you buy prepared, like icecream, should only be had in small quantities, and then only occasionally. Forget fast food! Eat out seldom, and go for lean poultry, grilled fish (no other seafood), salads. Read those labels! Stick to the above religiously, then get more tests in 6 - 8 weeks; things should have improved, (don't backslide!); if not, medication is an option, but should not be used as a substitute for the above eating plan. Copy this; show your doctor for fine tuning & additions. Cut back on salt & salty foods. Don't overdo coffee & Red Bull, CocaCola, Pepsi, or chocolate, or even tea.

Try to learn ways of calming down a bit. Stay optimistic and don't rely on pills or medicinal drugs too much. Stay fit, exercise and keep eating healthy meals.
