United Airlines which does fly from HK to SIngapore does allow cats in the pressurized and heated cargo compartment of the aircraft.

The charge for U.S. domestic travel is $100US and varies by origin and destination for international travel plus kennel size.

Cathay Pacific also allows pets on flight as do Singapore airlines. Probably most airlines do allow pets on flight but you must make arrangements as early as possible since space is limited.

Also your kennel must meet international travel requirements and you must get the proper health certificates. The pet must have an ISO microchip and face a 30 day quarantine period. If you do not have the microchip the pet can be deported.

Unless you are making a permanent move please consider not taking your cat through this stressful experience.

Flights into Singapore, you will probably will not be able to check in your cat as excess baggage due to the quarantine requirement. You will have to arrange for your pet to be transferred on your flight to an authorised pet centre for quarantine for about a month. So you need to contact Singapore AVA at www.ava.gov.sg for their regulations. You will need to arrange with the airline you are traveling on for your cat inflight shelter arrangement.

Hope this helps.
