Is it time to start a riot?

This is actually a lyric from a punk/ska band - the Disables. The point of asking about rioting is - how far are you prepared to go to say that this is not acceptable? Rich people diet and poor people starve - WTF?

That is a bit ironic isn't it. I however take solace in the fact that 85% of the starving people are in that position because they choose to be. They continue to follow leaders that destroy their countries ability to sustain itself in order to benefit themselves. They continue pumping out children they can't feed as fast as they can even when alternatives have been put at their disposal. Most problems people have in many "developing" countries are of their own creation, should I feel guilty for the life I lead because they won't put forth the effort to solve their own problems? A prime example is the AIDS epidemic in Africa, time after time western countries and charity organizations have put copious time and effort into medicines, protection and education. 75% of their advise is ignored, their leaders suck up the money for drugs to further enrich their own lives and then we are blamed for not doing enough. The solution is simple, but the men of Africa go through their countries nailing anything that will lie still long enough spreading AIDS like wildfire and somehow once again it's our fault. So please feel free to propose a solution, should we bankrupt ourselves taking care of people who will not take care of themselves? I for one am all out of pity.

Great point, actually the real truth is that if all the world's food were to be properly distributed then there would be enough to feed everyone.

The reason why this does not happen are many, greed politics and so on, but they ultimately lead to hardship and starvation.

Don't know about starting a riot though, probably not do you any good just get yourself in trouble, been there and done these things though for a different cause... It is very difficult to change the system in any way, but try and take something from someone to help someone else, that is a major no no... The selfishness and greed of mankind is unbelievable...

I have sounded off enough here, again good point...

well u see the problem here is that people on the top have vested interests.
For eg. like Americans are willing to help but the conditions for recieving help is to open up their market as a dumping ground for useless industrial goods and also trade in their natural resources (if they have any). Basically all in the name of trade.. or globalization to be exact.
And then there's the other side, where the money given to help are being laundered by some people between the giving and recieving line, and so nvr reach those who are supposed to get it.

Stop all wars and put the energy and effort in feeding and protecting -support all people.

If we were to do this, this truly would please God.
