I would get a secured card or two with low/no fees. Use it a little every month, pay it off every month. After a year of good history, most companies will convert it to a regular credit card. Keep using and paying every month. Always on time!
Time is your friend (or enemy) with credit. The longer you have a good credit history, the better.
Good luck.

easiest way to get is..fi u work and have a bank account apply for your bank's credit card
OR
2. get some loan for few days / weeks and repay in few small installment..let the bank do some business/make money on u.
then apply for the credit card.
control your spending dont exhaust your credit card balance..use sensibily

Stay away from it, until the day comes when you'll need it for, let say a house? or a major investment?, Just keep paying cash for your small needs for now! This way you can say it"s really yours! and your not buying lobster dinner for someone's profit from the interest payments on credit? Let's say you start out with a credit limit of $300.00, and your mininum payment is $10.00 a month!, because of the high interest rates at a mininum you'll being paying that $300.00 off for the next ten to fiftheen yrs.. Is this really worth it? Heck you can earn $300.00 in just one week paycheck!!! and pay it up front with the cash and don't have to worry about it later!!!

The easiest way is to apply for one (just one) of the card offers in your name that you see in the mail. It is important that you wait for a preapproved offer. In addition, you need to be able to show some income.
Surprisingly, it actually helps if you state that you are a student as your occupation. This is true as long as you have reasonable income.

borrow about $1000 and pay it back with the borrowed money. this will help establish your credit history and fico score. i agree with the other respondent, though. you should save first, then pay cash as a rule.
