1. Allah (SWT) 'God' is only 'One', has no partner or son, and neither gives birth, nor is He born. He is eternally besought by all and has no beginning or end, and none is equal to Him (Holy Quran example)
2. He is the Merciful and the Compassionate, the Guardian and the True Guide, the Just and the Supreme Lord, the Creator and the Watchful, the First and the Last, the Knowing and the Wise, the Hearing, and the Aware, the Witness and the Glorious, the Able and ' the Powerful. (Holy Quran example).
3. He is the Loving and the Provider, the Generous and the Benevolent, the Rich and the Independent, the Forgiving and the Clement, the Patient and the Appreciative, the Unique and the Protector, the Judge and the Peace. (Holy Quran example). The question of Allah's (SWT) 'God' existence has preoccupied men's minds for many centuries. Those who believe in Allah (SWT) 'God' seem to agree that the limited finite human intelligence cannot prove the existence of the infinite boundless of Allah (SWT) 'God'. It can only illustrate or demonstrate his existence to the satisfaction of the curious human mind.
Those who deny Allah's (SWT) 'God' claim to rely on science, philosophy, or special theories of knowledge. Their arguments are sometimes inapplicable, sometimes irrelevant, always complex, and often incomprehensible. However, the developed mind will find its way to Allah (SWT) 'God'. Failure to find the way does not mean that there is no way. Denial of reality does not make it unreal.

i actually read an article about whether or not being an atheist (not beleiving in god) was a mental illness.
science has conducted research on religious experience
and in alot of cases it comes down to a certain area in the brain (ie when some one is praying or meditating)
the question is do people who are atheists have this part of their brain in full working order??? or is there some kind of mental abnormality afoot?
btw mental illnesses are in most cases things that hinder your functioning in the real world, or impair cognition of reality, and/or cause the person alot of stress/dispair. mental ilnesses are things that are compaired to the majority of the human population. you cant say eating is a mental illness can you? because most people do it (a small minority dont and when they dont by choice it is usually classified as a dissorder depending on circumstance) and there is justified reasons why we do this. so why do you think you can say that belief in god is a mental illness when the majority of the population of earth has a belief in something other than nothing.?

Hmm depends on how you term illness. I think the belief in god nowadays is just based on trust in your elders. I wouldn’t say that is really a mental illness. But the continued belief after the age of eighteen that Noah’s ark is a true story.... I'd say that might be a clue of a little retardation. I don’t like saying religious people are idiots. Because I used to be a very religious person when I was really young. But I don’t mind saying most of them are desperate gullible fools like most humans. I do love to applaud Richard Dawkins and Bill Maher when they say that though.

Good question.
I'm fairly split on this spiritual issue. On the other hand you have the teachings of Christ, but one has to remember these accounts weren't written by Jesus himself--they were written by four outcasts or by Jewish scholars who followed a cult--either way it was inspired by a cult that evolved into a prominent religion.
If you look at the evolution of a cult religion, you start to see that Jesus actually bears alot of resemeblance to those who either claim that they are prophets from God, the Son of God, or the Second Coming of Christ. Its strange, but yes these people are mentally disillusioned from a life that never made sense to them. Their followers are the same: they believe in their prophet whole heartedly without questioning their character. Re-education occurs in which an entire group is either drugged or threatened and this causes one to remain within the group.

actual chatting with an imaginary pal isn't a symptom of psychological ailment. a guy or woman is familiar with that the pal is imaginary. As for the delusional schizophrenic, the affected person fairly DOES pay attention voices and see photos that are no longer there. a guy or woman who has an imaginary pal would not exhibit those indicators. meanwhile, i'm at present writing to an objective marketplace to which I have no evidence exists.
