I like this on and you should have the items in your pantry.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon olive oil
Blend all ingredients well until you yield a thick paste.
To use, smear all over clean face. If it does not spread easily (because the honey is on the thick side), add a little water to the mix.
Rinse with warm water. As you do, feel the granules from the baking soda start working as you rinse off the residue completely.
Enjoy your supple smooth skin...

For the face or just for the body? in my experience, well, for a good body scrub (not to mention cheap) =). After taking a shower, you should try using honey and lather it all over your body. (honey is very good for your skin. great moisturizer) and then exfoliate/scrub your skin with a rock iodized salt. (for a smoother skin). Rinse and VOILA! I hope you immediately feel the difference the same way I did.
Btw, I asked the attendant why can't I just simply use an iodized salt? she says it was too fine. not much use for some good scrubbing. Be careful though with the rock type, might be harsh-- so be gentle =)
While your pampering your self, why not try a d-i-y hair spa, too?
Enjoy!

Baking soda is a good exfoliant to use in the shower. Just mix it with a abit of water, make a paste of it, and scrub lightly.
For a (very) moisturizing treatment, mix raw sugar with just a bit of olive oil (again, a thick paste) and scrub with it. It will leave oil on your skin, which will soak in overnight.

just 3 ingredients
Super Easy body scrub:
OIL
(such as vegetable oil or grape seed oil...anything that you can eat is best for your skin, so don't use baby oil.)
SALT
(I like putting rock salt in a coffee grinder the best, but you can buy course salt at the grocery store and it's almost as good.)
A little bit of your favorite scent ESSENTIAL OIL
Put it in a container with a lid and be REALLY careful in the shower so you dont slip because it will make it slippery. Don't let water get in the container or it will melt the salt.
You can use sugar instead of salt if you prefer.

I myself mix sugar, olive oil or (almond oil, bought at a health food store, so check for your nearest health food store in the yellow pages or internet), honey, and a squeeze or two of fresh lemon juice. I never make lots of it I just make enough to use for one full body scrub. O, the scrubs used on dry skin while standing in the shower, when your done, just shower it off afterwards. About 1cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of oil , little juice and honey mix and stir well, you be the judge.

try this -
1 teaspoon rose water,
1 tsp of honey,
1 tsp of milk,
1 tsp of gram flour,
1 tsp of sandalwood powder (if available),
a quarter tsp termuric powder.
Mix & apply, leave till dry, wash off with cold water & pat dry.
Do it twice a week.
Its all in 1 - moisteriser, fairness, glow enhancer, evens out skin tone, removes marks & stops pimples if used regularly.
Hope i helped.

you can take a regular body moisturizer, and mix it up with coffee...like the american coffee you use in your coffee machine..and scrub it everywhere you want...you exfoliate with this and also helps diminishing cellulite on your buttocks and thighs.
that was a cheap tip from tyra banks on her show recently.
good luck!
