I work with a guy from India (born a Hindu) whose name is Jamal Raj. We use both names interchangably. His nephew is Rumesh. Another is Ramsingh (also born in Hindu family), but that is a surname. Rama and Rudra are male names from Indian mythology. Another Hindu I work with is Ajit (Ah-zheet), but everyone calls him Jit (zheet), and this is how he introduces himself...
Josephus and Josiah have nothing to do with Hindu, but I've always thought they were cool...

Congratulations! Ask the baby's mother to name the boy. She has the top privilege as she would have understood him while he was in her womb and would have talked to him, heard him and sung to him.
To me, that occurs on the top of my mind are RAVI RAM,
RAGHAVCHARAN, JOSHKUMAR, JAIKIRAN.
I wish the naming function all success and a bright future for the boy!
