Read the label

Look for the word that is either hard to pronounce or that you've never seen before... That is probably the name of the medication. Punch that into Google or WebMD and go from there..

If you can't read the label, call your local Poison Control center and describe the pill to them. I use them a lot when my patients bring in loose pills I've never seen before.

It's a writing on a sort of special piece of paper, which tells you what medication to take & how long & often you should take it. It's usually written by a doctor or a pharmacist. You usually need it to buy medication, if you're ill.
