I really believe God has been punishing me for the past 7 years. I don't think I'm a bad person and I try to be nice to people but nothing seems to go right in my life. Should i continue to pray or just be evil?

I don't think God forgets about anyone. In my opinion, being alive is an opportunity for self development - and it is more difficult to learn if there are no challanges... try viewing some of your "trials" as challanges and not threats - an opportunity to learn how to deal / cope effectively rather than as a punishment of some sort. Take action to resolve the things that are not going right in your life rather than letting them get you down - you'll feel better for taking control of the situation. Praying is ok - ask for guidance rather than a solution ? No sense in being evil when you don't have to be. : )

If you have admitted you have done wrong things in the past, and you've asked Jesus to be your Saviour and Lord, then you are a child of God. And God has promised He will never leave you or forsake you. Being a Christian or a good person does NOT mean everything will go well. Things will still go wrong. We get changed into better, happier people bit by bit. It takes a lifetime. Many people think that once you are a Christian things will get better. But we are developed and have our faith tried and strengthened by adversity and trials. Purifying and sanctifying. (getting the bad stuff cooked out of us as in a pressure cooker.) and (setting apart for God.) Diamonds are lumps of coal that stayed put and persevered under great heat and pressure.
Don't give up. Pray on your knees everyday and believe God -by His Holy Spirit- is with you and in you every step. Talk to Him about everything and be thankful...not for the hard things but that He is treating you as his beloved son or daughter. Good father's discipline their children. You are being discipled.
Ask for people to pray for you. Join a Bible Study group. Don't stop seeking God and His will for you. He has a good plan for your life.
Also be careful to not listen to your own negative thoughts. Use Bible verses to fight negativity. And if you have asked specifically for forgiveness for something you did in the past....don't let it be harping at you. Say "No I have been forgiven for that!" especially if your thoughts go like...."You can't be forgiven" or "you didn't really mean it"etc etc. the blood of Jesus can be proclaimed to be your cleanser of all unrighteousness. Focus on what is good, and lovely. Look for the good in every situation. If you are looking out for trouble it will find you. If you are down on yourself everytime something goes wrong...it will seem like only bad things are happening.
Find all the places in the Bible where it tells you what Jesus and His shed blood have done for you and use the verses like a sword to cut through whatever is oppressing you. We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. Don't go this alone...find supportive Christians who will lift you up and encourage you. Every blessing!

Millions feel the same way. The real problem is that there is no man living in a cloud. A person can pray until they're blue in the face and the same thing happens. Do you think that the victims who lost their lives in the Twin Towers didn't pray?

Allow me to reassure you my friend!
God does not forget about anyone.

Please don't have a vicim mentality. Bad things happen to everyone. I could list many myself, but I have chosen to put my hope in God, for He works everything together for good for those who love Him.

There is enough evil in this world - far too much. Where would going down that road get you anyway?

Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.

I think you have forgotten Hebrews 13:5 " I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee....". God is very interested in you, He proves this by telling us that he has numbered the hairs on our head.... I don't know about you but that seem like a complete waste of time to me.... but yet the Alpha & the Omega, The Great I am, seems to have taken a particular interest in knowing this. He has numbered the stars and named each one, and yet He knew your name before your birth. God is much more interested in relationship than just repetitive prayer. When was the last time you told Him that you "loved" Him? When was the last time that thanksgiving flowed from your heart? When was the last time that you worshiped Him for Who he is? When was the last time that you forgave God for the events that He has allowed to unfold in your life. When was the last time that your prayers were not about yourself, but about others that have experienced worse. Prayer is extremly powerful when you know how to untilize it. I suggest you perform your prayers in the following way: 1) Enter His gates with thanksgiving & praise, worship Him for who He is. Tell Him how AWESOME He is. 2) Greet the King in humility. Humble yourself by confessing any wrong doing; known & unknown. To repent means "To make an about face" so, simply turn away from shady things. 3) Present your petitions to the King. I'm sure that you know others who are in a bad way, bring them up first, and save yourself for last. 4) Thank the King for answering your petitions, even if they have yet to transpire. 5) Rejoice, in knowing that He will do abundantly and above all that you can ask. Amen

Heaven is where God is and hell is where he is not. Earth is where we are. [This is where you put your goals for your life.]

We all have focus, and when we change our focus is away from God, we loose God (not the other way around). We know where God is, He is in heaven.

We are God's children, coheirs with Christ our brother. God does not loose one of His children.

God gave you a choice: good or evil. God also gave you wisdom. If you have any doubts, talk to God about it.

God never forgets about his children, NEVER. Continue to pray and read the bible. Try to stop thinking about what God can do for you and start thinking about what you can do for God, that should fulfill you.

We are all punished. How we deal with it makes the difference. How would being evil help anyway?

Pray and truly believe in God and his powers. Have faith, he is looking out for you and will never forget about you.
