Hi,
I wouldnt worry too much. Mould is really a opportunistic pathogen. So unless you were already really sick (immunocompromised), ie undergoing chemotherapy, above 65 yrs of age, have AIDS, you should be fine.

You would be amazed at what the human body is capable of. Your stomach acid probably made a short meal out of that mould.

However, in the small chance that you do feel sick (symptoms and signs to watch for would be: high temperature, nausea, vomiting, rapid heart rate, feeling faint etc), dont hesitate to see your doctor.

My in demand sandwich ever: Buns, Roast pork, Munster Cheese, Shredded Lettuce, Sliced Tomatoes, Bread-and-Butter Pickles, Sliced eco-friendly Peppers, Onions and Honey Mustard. it rather is freaking scrumptious with some SunChips on a element.

Throw it away, it may have been stored incorrectly.

Also, unless it was black mold and unless you ate alot of it, I think you'll be ok. Most of the mold that grows on bread and meat is pretty benign in small doses.

This happened to me last month, and all I got was a bad case of the "green apple splatters".

Hope this helps!

Hey, a little mold never hurt anyone! Hey, I eat mushrooms all the time! OH, WAIT A MINUTE, that's fungus.

Anyway, unless you feel like you just consumed a moutful of dried up hairballs, I wouldn't worry too much.

(However, if, later, you feel as if you want to howl at the moon, go to the emergency dept immediately. All ER's have a special room for special people.)

If it was me, i would hope i got sick. Oscar Mayer would probably settle out of court for a nice sum. If you are really worried about getting sick, take a shot of vinegar to heighten the acid content of your stomach and hope for the best. You probably wont get sick though. Most mold is nowhere near as bad as ecoli.

I personally would have rewrap it and taking it to the health board or back to the store.
Make them aware of it. They don't know if you don't say anything.
Also save all left over sandwich, in case you do come down with any throwing up or sickness. Take left over to emergency with you.

I wouldn't worry. In fact the fungus would have prevented pathogenic bacteria from growing on it (that's how penicillin was discovered). You might still get diarrhea though.

Dont worry about it, it cant hurt you that bad, most that will happen is you will get food poisoning, if your immune system is not working properly you might be in more danger, but if you are healthy you should be fine.

don't worry. drink some milk or tea. and if you start to vomit see a doctor but i don't think that will cause anything life threatening.
