Yes, it's normal. My mother did a degree in psychology. When I was doubting myself about the major that I chose, she said that every young adult around my age goes through that phase when you have finally decided what you want to be but you still have some self-doubt. As long as the self-doubt is not excessive, like you really really want to do something else then it's normal. You might find yourself considering taking another major and looking over some other courses but if you really like what you are doing right now but you are just not sure about it, then I suggest you stick with it. Only leave if you have a serious disinterest in it AND interest in something else. Otherwise, just work hard.
Oh, yeah, I don't doubt myself any more. I made the right choice and I'm sticking with it.

Oh yeah! There are some college students that change their major two or three times! I had a friend who just decided he was going to triple major just because he couldnt make up his mind. School will help you decide what you want to do in life! I went to culinary school but in the end decided I would finish with nutrition and that just changed to health and fitness specialist in the end!

Yes, in many cases it is. In the course I am studying, I wanted to deal with current, up-to-date issues. But it turned out that I also had to read through historical writings. This was a bit disappointing. But I know I made the right choice.

When you will acquire enough self confidence about what your profession, then you will feel less awkward and more confident about it and be proud of it.
