I highly recommend that you buy a used machine on ebay or from a thrift store... maybe even ask a friend if they have one they don't use anymore that you could try out for a week or so to see if you even like using a machine to make your bread as opposed to making it without one. If you are looking for a particular brand.... I would check Consumer Reports or other source. Consumer Reports has some buying advice they published in April 2005. Good luck and again consider buyin used.... people buy these things all the time and later put them up never to be used again.

Don't do it!!!! I got one for a present. For the first couple of months I was using it every couple of days. That slowly got less, until it has now been sitting in my cupboard for about 6 months without being used. It takes about 3-4 hours to make a loaf of bread. It's much easier to go up the road and buy one

Raw chicken should not be used if it has been in your fridge more than 24 hours. Cooked chicken (regardless of how it is prepared) shouldn't be eaten after 48 hours in the fridge. And in case you're wondering this too, any cooked food should be thrown away if it has been out of the oven and not refrigerated for more than 4 hours. This is a pretty standard rule of thumb that most fast-food restaurants, schools, nursing homes, and similar institutions use.

There are lots of good ones out there, but what ever you do DO NOT get a Wel-Built brand. Well built is the last thing they are. I only got 1 loaf out of mine, and no one would accept the return or try to repair it. Lots of people I know had the same experience. Look it up in Consumer Reports. They have them in the library, and a shorter version on-line.

You means bread machines? If so, I think that so bad.
Breads kneaded are much better than machines.
See You!
