I would not suggest trying it with soft cheese...but I have chopped hard cheese..all you have to do is use your pulse button and watch the progress...when it is at the consistency you want stop and remove it from the food processor...hope this helps

If it is a hard cheese like parmesan or cheddar then you should be able to chop it fairly easy (it might crumble though). Soft cheeses (brie, camembert etc.) might get caught around the blades, so use a knife on those.

I have found if it you put it in the freezer for a while, it is easier to grate....it may work for a food processor, but it would be a horrible mess to clean.

it basically depends on cheese
like you can put parmesan cheese in food processor but you cant put processed cheese
