Natural herbs, like marijuana, sage, mistletoe, etc were common medicines during the time and were respected as such. There was no need to put anything in the bible about it.

Actually, my belief is that anything that ruins my testimony is sin. If I'm telling you about God and Jesus and giving you the gospel and then the next day you see me staggering out of a bar...that would ruin my testimony to you. My sister used to work for a man who used to preach the gospel to her all the time and then he'd turn right around and lie to a customer or pull a fast one on a customer thereby ruining his testamoney. Likewise, my testamoney wouldn't be worth a hill of beans if you caught me waisted or stoned on drugs a few hours or a few minutes or a few days later.

I suppose you could apply the same prohibition against drunkenness to drugs also, though as the previous answerer said most of the drugs we know of were not in use yet.

Cyprus hill claims in Genisis that God told Adam "I have given you all the plants, seeds and herbs to use" as in permission to use drugs...sounds like propoganda....I looked it up in the King James Version and it finished with....as food...who knows

Jesus said judge not lest you be judged in the same maner that you judge. It also says it's not what goes into a man that causes a man to sin but what comes out of the mans heart that causes him to sin. What goes into your mouth or nose passes threw you body and excreats itself. However, Your body is your temple, and these destroy your temple, they also make you week spiritually, mentaly, and phisically. it also gives Satan a foothold on you. The Demon of addiction. Yes they are actual Demons no lie.

the Bible teaches us that, “denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world.” (Titus 2:12)
