We have this model (actually, the "4800") at home...Click this link right here: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/InFocus-ScreenPlay-Entertainment-Projector-SP-4805/sem/rpsm/oid/113968/catOid/-13322/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do

The folks at home will tell you with those specs it wouldn't be a very good projector...That's exactly what I thought after selling $20,000 Runco projectors for years...But you've got to see it for yourself to believe it.

The "Faruja DCDi" chip makes even the VCR look almost Hi-Def...And the computer looks great on the wall surfing the web...Also, you'll find that the DLP does a better job with contrast (deeper blacks) than the LCD.

I don't think a multimedia projector is suitable to view movies because the brightness ,resolution and contrast is different to a home theater projector.Of course i may be totally wrong.Regards,Rob.

Yes. I have Canon multimedia projector. It is fantastic. It is as if you are watching in the theatre.

I once used it to play Tomb Raider until my wife came home and saw a life sized Lara Croft. It was fun while it lasted.
