I've just known her for less than a month and I'm looking for something subtle to tell her that I like her. I find love poems too strong for my purpose at the moment.

You can find the perfect poem to fit this situation with very little work at all.
It is in your head. Only you know what you want to say, only you know how you want it said.
Grab some paper, grab a pencil (or a PC if you are like me) and start trying to put together what you want to say. It might not end up being a poem, but it WILL end up being your truth about the situation. The best gifts are those you work at btw.

Good luck, HTH

Must you go the poem route? In my estimation this isn't wise. I could be totally wrong, but why not just ask her if she'd like to go get a hamburger or attend a game with you or something of this nature?
I just reread what you wrote. Maybe, you do take her out. I suppose if that's the case a poem might be ok. Although, I would find it unusual and not to my taste. Personally, I'd prefer a different approach...but then I'm not all girls. Good luck. :)

Poems in general are too strong for this purpose. Just flirt with her until shes ready to be asked out.

Turn the negative into a positive. Tell her it's an early Christmas present. Ask her out.

why don't you write her something yourself?
just write down what you want to tell her and it doesn't have to rhyme or anything...it will be better and stronger than copying a poem you would find somewhere

why not create your own poem?personally, i don't admire guys sending me poems copied from famous or unfamous poets. i prefer the personal touch. no matter how simple, as long as it comes from his heart. more touching, more real.

hmm maybe just write her a little note and stick it somewhere where she'll find it, maybe a locker or book. don't be too open with your feelings until she feels similarly

Write something out for her. It's best if it comes from you.
