First, you must get approval from your parent(s)! No one who is selected to go cannot get in without the parents signature on the official registration forms. And you must not have a criminal record! Any shop lifting, drunk as a minor, smoking weed, arrested for loitering ans such on your record will be marks against you.
You have to be "appointed"; which means you must compete with other graduating seniors from your voting district; who in turn vie for the "appointment letter" that comes from your state senator. Your grades must be top notch, excel in physical running and endurance, mathematics and statistics are a major concern in comprehending tactics of warfare that will be taught in your first year. You must also have a moral code to live by that honors all heritages of races, creeds and faiths. You must want to go for yourself and no others pushing you because a father, brother, sister, aunt, uncle or girlfriends who may think it "neat" to attend.
Last but not least is to have a faith in what America means to you and to acknowledge that this country was founded by ordinary men who led extraordinary lives with the belief that God was the principal originator of the founding of this country. That is if the school you attend where you live even teaches such things anymore. Do not believe all the nonsense that is PC in your school! Do not be a numbed robot and listen to all the rhetotic there. Form your own opinions and soak up much "outside" the classroom news and events. The better you will be in the end if you seek out your own answers and not all that is studied in the PC books that pass for knowledge. Good Luck and God Bless!

You will need lots of math and science. When you are in high school, you will need to get involved in as many leadership activities in school that you can. Also, you need to be involved in volunteer activities within your community. Keep your GPA up.

You're also going to need a sponsor for entry. You might want to look into that and get a head start if you need to use a congressman.
