It's normally pretty wavy and not too thick or course.

This is a gift for her so I can't ask without asking. :o)

She did specifically ask for a flat iron.

the chi, i can vouch for the chi, it really works i havent heard of the other brands. And if that is a bit pricey, Sally's has a Chi imitation iron that works just as good.

I think it would be best to ask your wife which brand she prefers. We might suggest something she might not like. You'd be better off asking her which one she would like.

If it is a gift you are trying to buy her, then, I must tell you that electronics are not a romantic gift for a woman. Get your female friends electronics or get your sisters electronic gifts.

However, never buy the woman you love electronic gifts, unless she specifically asks for it. Instead get her something that smells nice e.g a spa/bath set or a beauty and pampering kit set or lingerie. Fresh flowers from florist would be great e.g orchids, roses, daisies or lilies etc.

Just make sure it's a ceramic hair straightener/flat iron, because those always work best and make your hair look shiny and not damaged.

people always talk about chi! it must be a really good one..but sedu was voted the best flat iron or something.

i am inclined towards the slippery seal haircare line. a friend of mine uses said products to deal with hair in his southern regions.

well you should definitely try ANDIS ceramic clamp flat iron, but not the one with curved plates. it definitely keeps your hair extremely straight
