sometime i have a task bar & sometime no. How do i keep it on screen so i may sign out?

maybe autohide is on, put your mouse on the bottom of your screen then the taskbar will show up then right click it then click properties then uncheck autohide the taskbar then ok

You can pres the button with the windows flag on the left of the keyboard or move the mouse point on the bottom of the desktop screen and it will show.Then right click on start go to properties and uncheck the autohide box.

between the CTRL Button and the ALT on the left side of your keyboard is a button that looks like it has a "flying windows" on it press that. When your taskbar is showing right click and click on Lock the Taskbar, make sure you don't have it hidden. It's probably set to hide when mouse is away from it...change that by right clicking on Start click on properties, when the taskbar is showing and make sure the hide taskbar is unchecked you can also lock the taskbar here. so with the mouse on it and it showing the lock should work.

The setting on the Auto Hide taskbar. You should uncheck the Autohide option!
