You can never know if someone is truly pure of heart, and if you think about it none of us truly "pure" we all make mistakes from time to time, and those mistakes can leave scares.
What is truly important how she loves you.
Does she respect your thoughts, feelings, and actions?
Does she tell you her deepest desires?
Is she honest with you when it really matters? How about went it doesn't really matter?
How does she treat you when she isn't happy with you?
How does she treat people she doesn't like?
If she never changed how she treats you would you be a happy man?
How does she make you feel as a person?
The best way to know a persons heart is to watch how they behave day to day when no one is really watching. How do they behave on their worst day?

I couldn't tell you how to have an idea of her love/affection for you, but what do you mean "pure of heart?"

If you absolutely feel it when you are intimately alone and if she is considerate and treats you with respect when you are around others then you know her heart is pure.
