hi,
im 16 and I'm always afraid of death. I have a friend from the internet who is used to get connected everyday but lately in the last 3 days he did not and that's not one of his habits. So I started to worry too much and I directly thought that he died. I could picture him dead in a car accident , a heart attack and that was really awful.Yesterday I couldn't sleep cuz of thinking about what happened to him , my heart was pounding, felt like vomiting and I got a shortness of breath.I directly jump to the worst that can happen.
do I have anxiety disorder and how can I stop those negative thoughts?

yea i would say you are having anxiety, be it a disorder, or just plan anxiety is another thing. It sounds like you have a phobia about death, and you can work through phobia's in less time then other disorders, you might think about going and seeing a therapist, and talking with them. Please be very honest with them, cause it is hard for them to help if you are not. Every time you catch yourself having a negative thought, tell yourself to stop, and try to think of some thing positive to replace it with. It will take a while but it does work, and no i am not going to tell you it is easy, cause it is not, it is something you really have to work at, and keep yourself aware of, what you are thinking. And you are not going to want to change it to a positive thought all the time, but you really need to if you want to or not. So go and get hooked up with a therapist, and get to work on your problems before they get any more worse then they are. Your still young, and it is good that you can work through them now at a young age, other then finding them when you are much older. And having to deal with it a lot longer period to get better. so please seek out some professional help now, and really work on your issues, cause it will be better in the long run, if you do it now then wait later, and do not do it for anyone but yourself, cause if it is not for yourself, then you may not get what you want out of the treatment.

I can remember when I was little never thinking I'd make it to 18 years-old. I sometimes now there wll be days that I wake up and have this over-whelming sense of something terrible has happened or will. But I've faced quite a few issues in my life too. The doctor put me on Diazepam and I sometimes feel like I can't breathe or I can't swallow. I won't eat for days when I get like this too. You have to be careful with Diazepam though-it can be addictive- but I have learned that when these feelings start to come on, I'll pop one and relax. There are also classes you can take to help you deal with anxiety-unfortunatley they haven't helped me- But you can give it a try. It's Worth a Shot don't you think?

Your friend has had a strong effect on your mind. Maybe that is a good thing for you. I am sorry you missed him so quickly. Maybe three friends would be nicer to live with in the future. Give your heart away everyday but not to one person only. You are a passionate person and worthy of good friends too.

hi friend,

you have too much of caring nature , you are too much of emotional it's good for others you care too much for them but it's dangerous for you see yourself what problems it has caused to you

just try to find positive before thinking negative

just change your routine such as :
1) get at 6.00 clock in morning
2) listen to some good music
3) do some exercise
4) try to make your self energetic and make busy in doing some work

this will help you

with regards,

I know you care much for that person.

But even he's not been connected for a few days, anything may happen.

Maybe he has problem with his puter.
