how do u tell an insult from a tease?

if it just don't feel right then it was problem a insult, if you got goose bumps then i would take it as a tease.

Insult would be a jab at something that person knows you are sensitive about and hurts on purpose--teasing is with a smile and about something that kinda irks you but most times you'd let someone get away with saying it or tease back with your own remark and both get a laugh. You can tell by the tone/mood in that person's voice and the intention behind it. If it's bitterly sarcastic, definitely an insult.

An insult means a person does not like you and a tease is the person likes you and you can be friends because he can tease you without malice and he/she does it because he/she knows that you will not be hurt and he/she does it for fun.

how i tell from an insult from a tease is by knowing who i am with 1st off one of my ex's was never serious so i took what he said as a joke. Key point is the body language and facial expressions if they laugh and smile after they say the remark they are joken and if they give you stare or snarl that was an insult. and some times you can tell with the tone of the voice it is hard it was an insult it was in a stupid laugh then it was meant as a joke. and if you don't like the person joke tell them that you feel uncomfortable with their remarks. ~Mo

tease is for fun and the person saying it has no bad intentions, whilst insult the person who says it wants 2 hurt u.

An insult is when a girl has that nasty look in her eyes and is cackling. A tease is when a girl smiles the whole time she says it and her eyes are "smiling" too.
