I always here that Freemasons are not supposed to show favor in court rooms or in Job searches etc. But since they seem to have an unusual loyalty to each other.... Don't they just do so anyway?

I am a Mason. While there may be corrupt Masons that do bad things it is not what is taught at a lodge. EVERY Mason i know would be offended if you asked for such a favor. The types of favors we do for each other are, help the widow of a Mason who has pasted and other things like that. But to show favoritism in a business deal goes against what is taught at a lodge. Also there are ways to get finical relief if you are a Mason who falls on hard times but I have seen my lodges help more non-masons who need money than masons who need money
