It is like the wedding garter thing when the girl wears under her dress on her leg.

i have never heard of that. if it's a real garter you are supposed to wear on your leg i'm sure it stems from some wedding convention having to do with ownership, virginity, etc. i say no thanks!

No, its not weird, however, for most, it has become a prom night tradition and your date will more than likely expect to receive a garter from you as a keepsake and memory of the evening. a garter is for a man to remove after his marriage vowels to his new wife. if one is wore at a prom,it only invites a young man to have sex with you. don't wear it.

what is it? that flower on the wrist?? if it's that...i guess its giving ur date a flower that you cant pin on her dress....instead...it is worn on the wrist. ??
