If you know anything about auras, you know that there are many colors. Indigos are a fairly rare group of people who are also new. Indigos in older generations are rare. Indigos are said to be smarter and more spiritual, at the very least. My own thoughts about Indigos are these: sometimes, I wonder if it is the next phase of evolution. If that's not it, it could also be that parenting has taken on a habit of idolizing children and creating a kind of folklore about being Indigo.

The Indigo Child movement believes that the children in question are born with an empathic connection to Earth and others' thoughts. However, due to natural limits in infant communication, Indigo children's supposed abilities (empathy, telepathy, extra-sensory perception and extra-normal perception) are often suppressed by negative parental or societal influence. The Indigo Child movement therefore encourages parents to support those children in whom can be seen traits which are often labeled as negative by mainstream authorities but as positive by Indigo Child theorists.

I was ready to go into the wonders of vat dyeing with indigo, since it turns color from clear to blue once the garment is lifted out of the vat and comes into contact with oxygen.
Indigo children on the other hand is a bunch of new age horse ... poo.
