My fitting is at 4pm tomorrow & my brides maids live 4 states away and do you think it'd be appropraite to take a video cam as Im trying dresses on so my brides maid can view, because I think there opinion just as well as my own?

Your fitting? It sounds more like dress shopping. Fittings are not until after you have your dress all picked out and are getting it sized just perfect and any adjustments made. If you are still in the deciding stage, I would definitely recommend taking a gf with you....my daughter did so that they could both try on dresses and it worked out great. Not only did she get to see how the dresses felt but then if she liked it she had her friend try it on so she could see how she would look.....and the friend was a wonderful model for all the bridesmaid dresses. We did use the camera phone once we got it down to 2 or 3 choices....but you dont want opinions rolling in on more than that, its a lot to handle.
If this is your fitting, be sure to keep the pics top secret.....you dont want anyone spoiling it for your groom.

It does not matter who you take. Anyone you want. I think a video cam would be great. Your kids will love to see your preperations you did while planning your wedding. I know you value their opinion but you have to find the dress that you like. I had my maid of honor pick out the bridesmaids dresses. You could even suggest they go together to a bridal shop if they live in the same area and let them pick out some dresses then have them email you some photos of the ones they like.

CONGRATULATIONS!! i think u should take lots of pictures!! a video cam might get a little complicated but pictures are always great!! and..cost effective!! (copies of pics are WAY cheaper than copies of videos!) ..have ur friends rate the dresses..on a scale of 1-10..that way ull know theyre opinion but in the end its all up to u! Briging a video cam or a camera would be great. Also, don't forget to take your bridal lingerie and shoes you will be wearing because it's important in order to get the right fit. Congrats!

no, too much, you have enough to think about and deal with in the next few months before the big day. if their opinion means so much to you, then they should value your as well and like what you picked. after all, it's about you and you want them to look nice as well, so don't let anyone give you any flack about it.
