Funana; there you go again. Are you really seeking truth? What is that, not Jesus. Why would I waste my time asking?

Heaven's; What else would it be? Read your bible, what does it say about discussing the Lord.

2 Timothy 4:3-4
3For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

As other passages say, see the fruit they produce, you see evil fruit, Bible says you are wise and to find a new man to follow or study alone.

What you see is what kept me away from the church and religion for most of my life. Just my gut would say "sorry, something wrong here", even standing in a church I get that feeling.

But then I asked G_D......if you are out there....show me the truth, the REAL truth. And He did.....the works of YAHWEH (not the church of YAHWEH in Texas).

Realize HIS name was removed some 7000 times, realize his name is given 3 more times than even Elohim. Even my Native Cherokee knew HIS name before white man came here....for we call HIM YIHOWA...or in english...YAHWEH, YHWH.

Research HIS name, read up on HIS tetragrama, then the light will really come on. If you care to chat or gain info and links, email me, I have many, for HE is my mission, for HE came to me and showed me personally.

SC above sees HIM.

Christians who are well meaning scold you probably because of the way you asked when you were searching. It might have gone against what they believe by faith upon and gave them the feeling you were mocking what they hold to be true. I say "they" because I am a Christian but have experienced scoldings from other Christians in the same manner. Jesus taught us to love others as He loved us and some feel that scolding someone to keep them from getting out of line is showing love. If you have need of an answer that seems to upset them, then take it to the Lord in prayer. He will provide you with your answers and will not scold nor be angry at you for asking. Some Christian who has scolded you may even be the very one God uses to deliver His answer to you and by so doing, may also convict that person for turning you away with scolding instead of helping you find the proper way to seek whatever it is you need to know. Don't stop seeking or you will never find out any more than you already know. Give us Christians a break this time. We are not perfect, just forgiven. God bless you in your journey through this life!

I don't think Jesus existed in the way portrayed in the bible, and certainly the bible is not a history book or an autobiography of Jesus.
The early Rabbinic record of the Jewish faith , a document called "Dialogue with Trypho", written by St Justin Martyr circ 160 AD recorded what is basically an argument that Just Martyr had with a Jewish man called Trypho. In this document, Trypho mentioned a "groundless report" and also clearly and unequivocally stated the early church had "invented" Christ. In the famous Ante-Nicene Library can be seen this passage that reads " "But Krist, if he has indeed been born and exists anywhere is unknown...And you, having accepted a groundless report, invented a Kristo for yourself."
I am sure I could fill several pages with other references that question the historical accuracy of the life of Christ, but the point is, that belief in the concept, the teaching and practise of true Christianity is ultimately good, the fact that it is based on a lie is fundamentally irrelevant. anger is based on fear, true belief is not affected by the questions raised by the scholar or unbeliever.

I'm not perfect, just forgiven. I still have that old nature to me and I get a little better each day by the grace of God.

the thing that gets me is that everyone wants to put down Christians but still hold us on a higher pedestal like we are going to be perfect if we are right. The Bible says the best any of us can do is no more than filthy rags in the sight of God.

We are to discuss the word of God not our opinions or how we think it should be

I've noticed that if a question is asked in a mocking or insulting way, such as to imply that Christians are fools or morons, etc, then the question will draw some angry answers. They shouldn't let the asker get to them but, they're human, and they do. Sometimes they imply that God is a fool or a moron which is scary. People just don't understand the kind of fire they are playing with when they abuse the Name and Holiness of God.
I think that if a person asks a serious question in good faith that they will get a serious answer given in good faith.

Jesus said, I am the way the truth and the light, no man comes to the Father but by me.

I believe if he said search, then he meant to search the scriptures, the Bible.

I don't think he said search for the truth and you will find it. He did say, search the scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life.

If you want to know the real truth, read your Bible, especially the New Testament and you WILL find it.

You are scolded by Christians because of your "should I think you're working for the other party" remark. Ask right and we'll answer right, Christianity is no joke to us. And half of the questions shouldn't even be asked anyway. Why? Because this is so simple and easy, even a caveman could do it.

Edit: I'll read nothing, you have my final answer.

There could be several reasons for that. First, maybe they are just posing as Christians to make us look bad. Maybe you are misreading the comments. Or maybe (and likely) they are not perfect. And in that lies the truth you are seeking!

Christ died for you and me... even though we aren't perfect! Christians sin just as much as everybody else (OK, maybe more) and that is what makes God's grace all that much greater - He loves us anyway! And He loves the people who hate Him. It's amazing really.

So count scoldings as blessings because you get another opportunity to forgive and learn more about how God forgives you! If you are truly seeking and would like to learn more, send me and email and I will, humbly, send you any other info/verses you'd like.

Thank you and be blessed!

i imagine it is a magnificent question, and do not experience awful God isn't honestly indignant. sure God does say, "do not have the different God's earlier me". in spite of the undeniable fact that that's needed so that you may do not ignore that there is a such issue because the Trinity. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Now that we are wondering in the international that God exist enable me clarify: We as human beings were created in a twin of God. have you ever met someone who has been on my own for an prolonged era of time? They bypass loopy. My sister replaced into and she created an imaginary buddy and she became real to her, she even offered issues for her, it replaced into scary. Do you ever ask your self why human beings bypass loopy at the same time as their on my own? because we were created to be round human beings, guy replaced into no longer created to be on my own. no individual is and the reason of that's because we are a reflection of God's likeness and God isn't on my own. God has a attractive community between the daddy, Son and Holy Spirit. They artwork at the same time in acceptable solidarity and they artwork at the same time so completely they're One. that's truly a secret and there is continually some thing about God that we are going to not in any respect completely understand, if shall we completely understand Him he would not be God. there is an section in our brains that shuts down when we get to particular questions about God like, How might want to God always be? How is it that he's not sure by ability of time? with the purpose to respond to your questions no that's no longer a sin to worship the Son because he his God.

If you are being scolded then they are not true christians. One of the most important duties to christians is to bring others to Christ so if someone is doing the oppisite then they are not true. Do not give up for that is what the devil wants. Satan is placing these people in your way. Only with your strength and determination can you succeed.
