like in my country christians are always the target in the northern part of the country whenever they want to protest any issue

People contribute to violence not "religion" per sec ! People - whether they wear the "badge" of "religious", Atheist or Agnostic - have all throughout history, been implicated in violence and genocide. That's just the problem - people ! People without "spirituality" - a relationship with his or her Creator !

Anything can contribute to violence. I believe that it is people that tend to violence finding something to excuse it.
