Is there any software available for WinXP which enables me to hear FM radio on my desktop???

As in, an FM Tuner on my desktop. Not Internet Radio, mind u, FM TUNER.... Plz help...

There is no software that can receive an fm signal. You actually need a device with an antenna to receive an fm signal. You can buy a usb device that will will play fm through your pc.......

FM Radio is only available on the net if the FM station is sending it out. This will vary entirely by station. Some FM stations are charging a fee for web-listeners or specific programs, so your best bet for free FM is your own radio.

The FM Tuner cards you are getting referred to will not tune in anything you cannot already tune in yourself. It merely allows you to use your comp instead of a knob to tune in your local FM. If using your computer's resources to tune in the local radio seems like a good idea, go for it. You're better off buying a decent FM radio, and let your computer worry about other things, in my opinion.

You will have to buy the FM tuner hardware, most of them these days connect by USB. You can't tune in FM radio without the tuner (hardware).

Whose going to save our radio stations if we dont shift to DAB? that's being pushed by ability of both the commercial radio stations and the BBC - because it expenditures a lot more beneficial money have a presence on both digital and analogue stations.
