hello there, i have worked as a server, or waitress if you will, for over twenty years. it sounds to me like there trying to make you quit for some reason. how can a person be a waitress and a dish washer and at the same time work as a cashier?. who told you to be bossy? being bossy will get you no where with people. this place sounds pretty messed up. yes, you should move on to find another job, if that is not what you want to do, if not, then you should get together with who ever hired you and get things straightened out, also find out who you are supposed to take orders from.

If you gave two weeks notice, you should stick with the job until your two weeks is up. Smile, have fun on the job, don't let the customers get you down, and let other people do their jobs -- because you will be gone, gone, gone in just a few days. You get paid for being crabby, and you get paid for just letting it slide -- unless they start scheduling you for a lot fewer hours.

Just remember: if you want the job done right, sometimes you have to do it yourself instead of waiting for someone else to fix it. Also, if you like the job, you need to go with the flow. If it's bad, though, you should start looking for a new job instead of taking it out on customers and co-workers.

How have your other jobs gone? You might consider taking a job where you can work by yourself and do things the way you think they ought to be done.

If you have already quit your job, I'm not sure why you are
asking the question. From what I can tell from your description of your employment, your job duties were a
little unclear.

But having been with your job only six weeks, you don't need to be agressive....just do your job and try to get along with everyone until you are accepted as a dependable part of
the group. Then you will gain more respect and more
responsibility in the group. Remember this at your next
job. I don't think your future with this job is too bright.

They are probably trying to get you to quit. Would you rather quit or be fired?

You might have some anger and attention issues. Until you address these problems, you will probably not get along in social or work places.

Things seem pretty far gone on this job. If you don't have to work right now, seek some help for your issues. If working is necessary for support, still seek help but start looking for a job that will be less stress while you figure things out.

Get another job. It isn't worth it, not for the pay you are probably receiving as a waitress/cook/cashier position. Surely there are other jobs in this field with better managers and staff. Walk away. Good Luck.

Apply for another job. Then after you get it then quit your old job.

did you explaine all that to the manager? because he shouldnt have written you up if that's the way things really happened. well you've already put your 2 weeks in so to them you're already as good as gone. i would try to get a new job as soon as possible. good luck.

well you already gave your notice so its a moot point. But waitresses do make more than cashiers in the long run so its your loss. Move on.

Quit the job and return to school.
Mrs. Jones' third grade class has been wondering where you went.
