In my honest opinion:
I believe that we don't see those type of miracles today because the scriptures have been completed. When a prophet would speak on God's behalf typically he gave the prophet the power to do miracles in order to authenticate that the messenger and the message was sent by God Himself. For instance, anyone can claim that they have a message from God. How would one tell the difference between a true prophet with a message from God than an imposter with lies from Satan? Miracles in a sense are God's signature stamp. Note that miracles are not done in the sight of those who lack faith but rather are done for those who already have faith.
Here below is an example of what I'm talking about.
Luke 7:20-23 When the men had come to Him, they said, “John the Baptist has sent us to You, saying, ‘Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?’” 21 And that very hour He cured many of infirmities, afflictions, and evil spirits; and to many blind He gave sight.
22 Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them. 23 And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”
This was a sign to John that yes Jesus is the Christ the one who was to come because no man can do these things except he be sent from God.

Todays miracles are different.
They are miracles that people experience from within, at the deepest part of their personality. Instead of physically curing people, they give people courage, hope and mercy.
But why?
Because God couldnt let His crusifiction be the end. He loved humanity too much. So what did He do? He moved underground, in secret, right into people's souls. To change their actions and be visible through them. His mercy knocks at the door of every soul, and His miracles are unmistakeable to those who answer.

My definition of miracles and the biblical definition are thoroughly distinctive. Biblical miracles are some thing I even have on no account experienced. own miracles that I been in awe of are the beginning of my 2 daughters. The beginning of my 2 grandchildren. The look on my spouse to be's face whilst she suggested I do. The look on my spouse's face this morning whilst she wakened after being married to me for some reason i visit on no account comprehend for 38+ years. different minor miracles have been whilst i became a pilot interior the Air stress, flying solo at evening and searching up on the celebs and the galaxies you are able to on no account see from the floor. Having my destiny son-in-regulation hem and haw for 2 hours over coffee to inquire from me for my daughters hand in marriage. My life is crammed with miracles. no longer one biblical, yet all merely as significant. confident i'm a Conservative Jew. bill (Velvil)

first of, they aren't different - Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. - He's still the same God as He was back then and He can do those things now.
- I personally have seen blind people receive their sight back, deaf people have heard, i've seen people jump out of wheel chairs, and limbs grow. and i know someone who was raised from the dead (after being dead for 45 minutes !!) so yes, miracles still happen.

Not only do they exsist or have I seen them, I've been a part of them. While Jesus is the only one who could say, raise someone from the dead. Modern day miracle still happen.
One time at Catalina Island I heard a voice in my head, Kind of like a conscionce but more like someone talking to you. anyway it told me to go to the docks and when i followed it. I met three people who helped me in one of my struggles with my faith in God.

Up to an extend I do believe in modern day's miracles.
I have an experience too.
The Church which I belong teach, Miracles and tongs has been stopped.
But I believe in my Lord whose Words can never be changed.
Today's miracle crusades are just to exalt their own names and not to exalt God.
They make others witness them saying, I had this and that, till I came to so and so. Then so and so prayed for me (no personal witness of salvation ) and my this and that has got cured.
I believe If you believe in God, you will see the Glory of GOD

Yes. my fiancee' was riding his motorcycle on the highway last week and some jackass decided to buzz his rear tire with the fender of their car. he was nudged into the rear of a Mercedes which he flipped over and slid on his back underneath a moving semi-truck. believe it or not, he came out of it only a little sore.(he'd just bought the new helmet and riding jacket the day before!!!) and the bike was totaled. How's that for a miracle?

The only difference in today's miracles from the miracles of old is the name in which we now call them "coincidence".

Part of the problem is that you have to believe it BEFORE you see it. Alot of churches today don't teach what the Bible says, but they do happen, Do a search on Smith Wigglesworth.
