instead of drinking plain water,
i'm making pitchers of tea.
no sugar. just water, the teabag thing...
and about 4 drops of lemon [soemtimes]
is that as good as drinking water? [not flavor wise but health wise]

Tea is better than soda, but not as good for you as water. Tea is a diuretic and has caffeine. Your body is composed primarily of water.

Green Tea is good for you. But, the tea that you make with teabags has caffiene in them even without the sugar. The best thing to do would be to drink water. Or, you could get the crystallite things that only have 60 calories and make the water not taste so bland. Or you could even put some lemon juice in the water. Still, water would be the best option.

There is nothing you can drink that is as healthy as water. But that doesn't mean that tea is not healthy, in fact Green or Black tea should be a part of your daily diet if you like tea. It provides a lot of antioxidants, but the ideal fluid for your body is plain old water. Be careful there are a lot of crap tea's out there, but you should definitely get rid of all forms of soda pop ( regular or Diet ).

Nothing is as healthy as water. Firstly, it depends on which kind of tea you drink, if it is black tea or something strong than it is probably not good for you. The best teas are ginger, jasmine, and green tea. Tea defenitly contains a lot of vitamins and anti-oxident. Tea is better than coffee, but water is always the best.

I know there is quite a bit of caffeine in mainstream tea so it would be unwise to drink too much tea in a day unless you drank a decaf version.

Teas have nutrients and is made with water (right?) . So, you are getting a bonus. It's said that black tea has cancer-fighting stuff. And green tea is good for you, too.
