Show her how mature you are. Gather all the facts, such as hotel info, travel routes, chaperones, colleges you'll be visiting, things you expect to learn, maybe a note from a teacher outlining the benefits. Don't forget to mention if you can go off on your own or if all your time will be chaperoned. Including phone numbers of the school, the hotel you'll be staying at, etc. will also work in your favor. I would put it report form as if you're submitting a request from a boss at work.

well is there going to be adults is a starter. and she is probably worried oh you are going to get drunk and some college guys going to put a move on you. my sister went through the same thing I would just tell her there are adults going with us and we are there to check them out to see if it is the right place to get an education.
that is what I would say, and think about why you would want to go to that college what you would like to do there and say that to her. cause she might feel a waste of money if you don't know what you want to do. so just be honest to a sear-tin point.
adults yes if there is. what you are hopping to archive besides better spelling and not haveing a job at MacDonald's.

1) Bring a letter home from the trip manager indicating that there are chaperone's & what the ratio of staff to students will be.
2) Tell her you will pay the trip costs, since you are suppose to be grown up enough to travel out of state.

have you asked her yet? Talk to her about she is feeling about you going away to college, it is a difficult time for a parent, You know, my baby is leaving home and all that stuff! Take her out somewhere for a coffee and talk to her as an adult to another adult!
