i'm 5'8 and i weight 118 lbs.

I'd say you'd gain a good 20lb! It probably won't show for a couple of months, but I don't think it's healthy to gain weight like that.

You should try to gain muscle instead.

It really depends on your genetics and activity level. If you're not working out at all, you'll probably gain pretty quickly in the form of mostly bodyfat. If you're a high-intensity athlete, then you'll likely gain some muscle mass, depending on what you're doing.

Some people are so genetically gifted that nearly all the need to do is THINK about lifting weights and they get big, fast. Most people really have to work at it. Conversely, some people are be able to eat and eat and don't seem to gain weight, while others eat very little and gain a lot of weight anyway.

it all depends on your matablism and how you excersice.
