That's a tough question because it has a long history. Basically, it's old prejudices dealing with oppression and land control...

so basically all the answers above are bullsh*t...
hindus are not prejudiced against pakistanis
is there a high anti-pakistani feeling amongst the vast majority of indians? yes there is, even among the indian muslims
this is because of the ongoing jihad in kashmir which is sponsored by pakistan
and what the hell do you mean by why havent they accepted pakistan? hindus gave them pakistan, of course they accepted it
most of the people in 1947 wanted one country (even the majority of muslims wanted to remain as one country)
but the radicals wanted their own so to prevent a war india gave up one third of its land for peace...and that came bak and bit us in the a$$...
so i dont kno where you got these ideas, but they're not true..
even today india offers pakistan aid and peace (not that they accept it..)
we are willing to work with em to make peace but if they're not going to accept hey i think india needs to grow a pair and show them we won't take their crap forever

The Indians don't need to grow a pair. Didn't you get the memo? About bigger being better?
In 2006 several Indian Officials have said their government
should build facilities in India for condom manufacturing.
It seems universal one size fits all provided by European-
Union Industry (the same size in use in North and South America), has a problem India needs to resolve.
Indians need a condom of smaller proportions because
the European-Union imports fall off 60% of the time
and this contributes to the continued high birth rates.

Probably for the same reasons that muslims are prejudiced. They both hate each other. Your talking about third world cultures (I don't care if they both have nukes) they are cavemen trying to live in the 21st century.

Hindus do not want Muslims. Thus, Pakistan was made to separate because of its predominantly Muslim population.
