A month missionary work in a 3rd world country without modern amenities made me appreciate being in the good ole USA for starters. In August this year, I will be returning for more missionary work, not as long, two weeks this time.

I grew spiritually, emotionally and physically-- I realized I had much more then I realized. I found out first hand that God will put no more on you then you can bear and which I learned I could bare a whole lot. I was constantly afraid but God kept me in perfect peace, no panic, He showed me culturally how to act correct. My endurance and stamina to go without was increased. He put the right words in my mouth on what to say. When I had to witness to people who had never heard of the Christian God, I was received and listened to politely and even was able to have a few people seek me out for more enlightenment.

In a nutshell, I learned to live my life depending on God for everything and wait in patience for His provision.

Strong faith and trust in God is not self-serving
