i have a 2007 ford focus and want to remove the radio. i know that on older radios their are 2 pins on both sides to remove the headunit, but on this one from the factory their is not

The radio is held in with screws underneath the dash panel. To remove it you need to remove the panel first; you should be able to pry it away if you're careful. For removing dash panels without damaging them, I strongly recommend tools like these:

the panel around the radio should be clipped on and you need to take some pick tools on each side of the dash part and pull if you need help with this. you can IM me and I will help you do it.
