OK so i have know this girl since 7th grade and were both in 11th grade now. she has had relationship problems. she broke up with her boyfriend 2 months ago and she said she is ready to move on. i have been thinking about asking her out and i had decided i was gonna do that monday at school but about 10 minutes ago she told me that there is a nice guy that she MIGHT start to like but its not a sure thing. we both pretend that she and i are going out/breaking up just 4 fun. but ppl have told me 2 ask her out cuz she might like me and we are really close. what should i do?? is hope lost because of what she said about the other guy??

You need to tell her right now, dude.
You need to. Otherwise you'll probably keep holding back and being unsure.
Do you want her to be yours for real?
You should tell her you don't want to pretend anymore and thet you really like her and that she means something to you.
It's drop dead romantic and any girl would fall.
It doesn't matter about the other guys out there. The point is that YOU want her. And YOU need to tell her otherwise she'll never know.

No, hope is not lost yet. Maybe she said that just to make you jealous. Maybe she is waiting for you to ask her out. You should try your luck and ask her, otherwise you will never know. It will hurt a little if she said no but at least you are dare to take chance and satisfy your curiosity.
