Dear The Last,
No, I no longer see death as the worst thing that can happen.
The worst would be for someone to die without having Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior.
We all will die at some point whether we live but a few days on this earth or we live for a century or more. It is but a few moments compared to what eternity is.
Just the thought that anybody would choose to spend eternity separated from the awesome uncreated Creator is truly horrifying.
Is Jesus Christ your LORD and Savior? I hope so. He would have gone willingly to the cross if you were the only sinner on the face of the earth.

I also agree that death is far from the worst thing that could happen...Very well said earlier.....ask a parent that is burying their child..... Life in Prison......being alone in this world like no family no friends no one that cares about you...alll of these would be much worse than death. I am sitting here thinking of a million worse scenerios than death.

Death can either be the worst thing that can happen or the best thing, it depends on where you are going after death. I would say pain and fear are the worst things besides Hell. But no matter how bad you suffer here on earth, you can be saved from eternal suffering in Hell if you just have faith in Jesus and follow him with all that you have. I'm working hard on living by faith and doing my best to follow him. I don't say this to scare anyone, I just want to warn people before it's too late. Please take what I said to heart and God bless.

No, the worst thing is dying with out knowing that there is a God and only he can save you..and for those who don't believe, death is the worst thing for them because for them its the end..nothing else--just death.

Death is the result of sin. I don't think death is worst, but going to hell would be the worst.

Have you ever heard the phrase "is the glass half empty or half full". It depends on the person you are talking to whether they see death as a bad thing, or whether they see (because they are prepared for it) death as a good thing. It depends on each person's religion or the way they see things in life, I guess.

The second death is much worse than death, it is being eternally seperated from God.

For all we know death may be the BEST thing that can happen. Death is change and change can be unnerving.
Far worse than death is regret IMHO

Yes there is something much worse than death. You see we actually never die. You will live eternally. That is your spirit will. So the real problem is making sure your spirit lives with Jesus in heaven. If you receive Jesus Christ, repent of your sins and make Him your Savior; then you have nothing to fear. You will have eternal life and enjoy the presence of God for all eternity. If you refuse God's love and forgiveness then you will damn yourself to hell. God has given us a choice. Make the right choice.
