I moved to Portland Oregon from Wisconsin and I've had an allergic reaction to pollen and trees for the past 3 years. Will I get the same allergic reaction if I live in Seattle near the Puget Sound?

I believe u would, cuz Seattle is not too far from Portland, and they both share the same climate "Wet and cool", and Spring is here, so more pollen will be floating around. The cities also have some of the same trees and plants. Sorry about your allergies, it most be awful. I also heard that "cloudy, grey skies" can affect your allergies too. You should try somewhere dry, like the SouthWest.

You can bet on it! Portland and Seattle have the same climate, the same trees and plants, about the same rain fall and absolutely very close temperatures. Portland is a large city and so is Seattle. You will have about the same pollen count in both cities along with about the same amount of pollution..Sorry!

Yes you will still have your allergies. You never get rid of your allergies even if you move. If you don't come in contact with what you are allergic to you won't notice symptoms but you will always be allergic to pollen and whatever trees you are allergic to.

Uh, hi! Pacific Northwest. you're in undemanding words separated by ability of a few miles and have self assurance me a Fir Tree is a Fir Tree is a Fir Tree. there is no longer a lot distinction; having grown up in Oregon and suffered hypersensitive reactions all of my existence, to exceedingly a lot each thing turning out to be in the international. once you've hypersensitive reactions you stay in the incorrect portion of the international. yet once you should stay there, get therapy. I did and performance not in any respect regretted it. bypass to an quaint allergist; have scratch exams (they're tedious and damage, yet they're the in undemanding words thanks to make certain your hypersensitive reactions) ... and then take the serum remedies. you'll discover you exceedingly a lot not in any respect have hypersensitivity complications. in case you at the prompt are not keen to attempt this, take Zyrtec. sturdy success
