Made payment agreement in Jan and made a payment It set up for automatic withdrawl so I know it has never been late .Now I have court papers saying I am in default and owe around 700$ more than agreement..I have 21 days to do something..How can this be

I hope you got your payment agreement in writing. If so, send a copy of it, along with bank records showing the on time payments to whoever is sending the default papers.

If it is not in writing, best of luck to you.

You have your agreement papers, so get them out an get your bank statements out an look at the dates. Check to see who's at fault. If the company is trying to take the money out of your account an there isn't enough balance there for there deductions an they have to wait for a deposit then it's your fault. Then on the other hand if the money is there an they have received there payment on time they can't ask for a default. What has problem happened is that this company is feeling some hardship an they are trying to get all lose ends tied up. But by law they can not threaten you without going Thur with it. They have to back there treats. Look at your papers, then take your papers an the default letter to an attorney.,
