Okay, so I've really liked this guy for quite awhile and just recently he told me he felt the same about me (he said it first and then i told him...)
so we have this little flirtation thing going on and yeah...he saids those 3 magic words (I.L.Y) and i was stoked. I mean who would have thought I could get a guy like him? so surreal. but then i found out he's been saying the same things to one of my best friends. She got mad and she said something to him about it. He just kind of said "i dont know what you're talking about..." and yeah. She told me he said this. I still haven't asked him about it -- actually, we haven't spoken about it at all. We talk normally and he's been saying the same things. I like him sooo much but don't know what to do. Oh, we also saw him at a carnival holding hands with a different girl. player? i have no idea. He hasn't said anything about having a girlfriend. its way to confusing.

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO'VE ANSWERED BUT ONE MORE THING.....i TRY to stop talking to him. I keep telling myself that i'm NOT going to answer the phone or reply to his text message's but everytime his number shows up, i answer it, everytime he text message's, i reply. Even if i did stop talking to him, he'd still have a way to connect because his sister is one of my best friends! or is the solution to stop talking to him? tell him to leave me alone? or quit the whole i love you thing?

A total jerk.
Why would he tell you that he has a girlfriend?
These kind of people have about 3-4 girlfriends, and none of them know about each other.
Leave the guy right now. You will find someone WAY better.
He's obviously a dumb player. Does he not know that your friend would tell you whatever he said to her?

don't be blind because of how you feel for him! Don't let this guy disrespect you and mistreat you just because you "like him". When one of your best friends tells you something like that, it's pretty much red code for "the guy is a loser - dump him." FYI girl, guys don't just say "i love you" out of nowhere - it's never an easy thing for a guy to say but when they say it they mean it. Guys are dread and are scared of committment and saying "i love you" is a BIG sign that he is committed to you...honestly, this kid doesn't sound like he wants to be "committed" - Girl, listen to me, i've been with a guy like this and it's not worth getting your feeling in a roller coaster - he's wasting your time, energy - physically and mentally - you are only hurting yourself more if you keep progressing with this - get out while you still can and save yourself. Don't worry, the right guy will come someday, i promise

What i think true love is for someone to truly love you, meaning that he would be honest about everything. he got nothing to hide from you. to be the 3 words means a lot. he should say that to some special, not too many others girls. you should go up to him and talk about how you two feel toward each other. good luck hope things work out for you

i think u should go with ure friend on this. dont trust him he sounds like a real player. but i would ask him about it first and see what his excuse is.
if ure best friend says hes no good then i would believe her.boyfriends come and go but real friends stick with u forever.
