which means that Jesus is, in fact, responsible for murdering all those firstborn children in egypt?
Well, that's sick. I'm sorry to know that.

Abbygirl,
I read the story. Jesus murdered the firstborn of each family becuase the pharoah had ordered the Jews firstborn killed.
I get it...an eye for an eye. Revenge is sweet, especially when it's carried out via a pogrom from Jesus.

The Trinity is false doctrine...it's not in the bible and no where in the bible does it call all three one person...They are one in purpose.

Jesus did not kill the firstborn. This is the story of Moses, written about in the old testament. Jesus was born in the new testament. God ordered that the firstborn be put to death.
Jesus did not become one with God until He died and rose again. When He resurrected He became one with the father.
This is why we refer to Jesus as God now.

Your point in relating this is very obscure. You fail to grasp the fact that God is working out a Devine Plan, here, on the earth concerning His human creation, in phases or stages. Please avoid misjudging God's [Jesus's] motives. Remember; God created people and to impart life back into a dead person, would be a "breeze" for Him to do. Have you not read where all people ever, born - each in their time and turn, will be resurrected back to life to be offered eternal life ? Read about it in the Book of Revelation ! Don't judge the Builder of the house until the project is complete. In the very end, we ALL WIN !!! Your "sickness" will be turned into rejoicing !

God is a rightful judge.
People don't see death in the right way. When you don't have Jesus, you see death as a terrible horrible thing. But God just sees it as an even shorter life that is so short anyway. He has pity on the innosent, and life after death is much longer than this life anyway. I am not scared of death.
Plus, to answer your question. Jesus was with God from the beginning---the beginning of creation. Adam and Eve walked with Jesus and talked with him.
In the original Hebrew translation of the Bible, mostly in Genesis, God is referred to in His plural name---so there obviously was more than one of Him.

Your attitude is what is sick. The Lord gives life, the Lord is the only One qualified to take it back. And those 'children' were in some cases in their 30's, 40's, and 50's. So don't get your panties in a bunch.

No, they aren't. God, his Son, and the holy spirit are separate.
God does not murder anyone. Pharoah brought misery on his own people. Those Egyptians who obeyed God's orders were spared death. God was not to blame for those who died.
